Two very dear friends of ours, Loren and Alma Yoder, were married last Saturday. Here are a few pictures.Our family with the bride and groom.
We have been almost like family for them, they've spent a lot of time at our house.
Loren and Alma's story is a beautiful example of how God's grace can turn any circumstance around for His glory. In short, 4 years ago, Loren had run away from home, soon after he "met" Alma on a chat line. He did return back home after 2 weeks. He attended a Bill Gothard seminar, and he says what really made the breakthrough for him was when he and Clinton would get together down by our shack, (the man hole), and memorize Roman's 6 together. Eventually Loren led Alma to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and her life was radically changed. Isn't God's grace wonderful?!

Steve and 3 of his boys, Clinton, Winston and Sterling sang in the Kansas Mennonite Men's Chorus with about 280+ other men. We really enjoyed listening to them 2 Sunday evenings. The presentation includes piano, brass and percussion. Our favorite songs were "Sing For Joy" and "Dry Bones." They practiced almost every Sunday for several months. Great job guys!
