Thursday Night

On the third Thursday of this month, when my siblings and I were playing music on the street, and some friends of ours were there handing out tracks.

There was a couple there, listening to us play. And I heard that the man wanted me to play his violin to see how it sounds like with other instruments.

So I played it, and it sounded really good. After playing a few songs on it, I went to tell him what I thought of it. When I did he asked me questions like, how many violins did I have or if I had any.

Then they gave the violin to me! My family and I had been praying for one! What an answer to prayer, and it was no ordinary violin either, it was an antique. It has nice inlays all over it, and it sounds great! They said it would be a blessing to them if I took it.

He had gotten this violin a long time ago, and it amazes me just to think of how God planned this out,

And how He knew that we would pray for it all these years later!  So I just want to give all the glory to God, and remind you that He does answer prayer.

Update...

Dad and Mom are leaving on a speaking trip this Wednesday.

All the kids will be at home having a great time (I hope), cooking and cleaning etc all by themselves .

The hardest thing for me will be keeping Lilies going and deciding what to make for supper.

And then all the little things that go along with being in charge of 5 younger siblings.

 At lease Clinton will be here.  :-)

 I think we have something going every day this week, so don't worry about us being board.

Please pray for Mom and dad as they speak at the churches and schools.

Subject is modesty, pray that the people would be willing to hear it.

Last Week

Our parents went to CO last weekend, So we did a few special things.

Funny how the food tastes different when you roast it over a campfire~ slightly more earthy?

Than we went for a little walk on the four wheeler trails, unfortunately we don't have the four wheeler needed to fully enjoy the trail.
