Iowa 2

I'm back to blogging, finally. We've been very busy around here, thus blogging was pushed back.

But here are a few more of our trip to the great state of IOWA! (nevertheless, I like Kansas better)

Bryson was kinda shy at first.

Cousins came from Ireland, Paraguay, PA, KS and AR

It was so good to see each other again!

Just being together is fun.

It is starting to feel like spring out here, yay !

Now, we did more then eat ice cream while Mom and Dad were gone.

Thursday we went to the shack and cooked our supper over the campfire.

Friday evening we (the girls) had a tea party, :-)

while the boys went to a birthday party.

Saturday evening we had some friends over for supper.

Sunday there was a carry-in at church :-)

Monday we did laundry, and finished the cake that Dianna had been working on since last Wednesday. Then we had an ice cream party! last of all...

....we hopped in the van and drove to Wichita to pick up the 2 special people we were missing the last 6 days!!

It was 1:00 a.m. when we got back, so quite naturally no pictures of people were taken.

Doing well....... :-D

Here's what we did last night....

This is want we thought of it.

Not to fear, we did not eat all of it. and there is a good reason for getting that much. You see it was on sale, :-D and you had to get 8 to get the good deal. :-) What do you think we ought to eat tonight? Oh, and by the way this was not our supper, just a little snack after supper.

And for my cousins in PA who will be seeing mom and dad soon, you don't need to....well you know ....tell them....we are saving a -little (everything we don't eat) for them as a surprise !???....(maybe)....

Christmas Time!!

Cristi gave all the girls jackets for Christmas, and mom's Christmas present put the flowers and letter on them. :-)
