Summer in review

This is true of our lives...

We've have a lot going this summer and I didn't take the time to let you all in on it.

Here is a short rundown.

 Our friends the Bontrager family stopped by. We really enjoyed the chance to be with them again.

 

Camping

Kansas heat, I'm just glad it's not humid.

Common evening activities.

It is starting to feel like spring out here, yay !  

 

 Now, we did more then eat ice cream while Mom and Dad were gone.

Thursday we went to the shack and cooked our supper over the campfire.

Friday evening we (the girls) had a tea party, :-)

while the boys went to a birthday party.

Saturday evening we had some friends over for supper.

Sunday there was a carry-in at church :-)

 

Monday we did laundry, and finished the cake that Dianna had been working on since last Wednesday. Then we had an ice cream party! last of all...

....we hopped in the van and drove to Wichita to pick up the 2 special people we were missing the last 6 days!!

It was 1:00 a.m. when we got back, so quite naturally no pictures of people were taken.

and everyone's absolute Favorite (not to mention cutest) nephew, Bryson!!

Cristi gave all the girls jackets for Christmas, and mom's Christmas present put the flowers and letter on them. :-)

Orange hats are not the best for photo shoots. :-/  But he felt more comfortable in it.

 

I would like to get a good picture of just him. But he prefers not to have his picture take (especially when it's just of him) so I had to get it with him and the bird. He liked it much better that way :-)
